Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Engineer Role

Working for a startup that has created an AI-powered networking planning app

Location: onsite 4 days a week in Brooklyn, NY

Salary: $170-220K + equity

Fulltime/staff role

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain AI pipelines on AWS for LLaMA and other LLMs.

• Utilize AWS Bedrock for scalable AI solutions.

• Create and manage knowledge-based systems to enhance AI capabilities.

• Train, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs for various applications.

• Perform prompt engineering to improve model performance and user interactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products.

• Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI models and pipelines.

• Document processes, experiments, and results for future reference.

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as LLaMA.

• Strong expertise in AWS services, including AWS Bedrock, and building scalable AI pipelines.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Experience in prompt engineering and optimizing AI models.

• Experience with predictive models and optimization algorithms.

• Experience with backend architecture in a startup setting.

• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.

• Contributions to open-source AI projects.
