Role Overview

The Python Developer will be responsible for design, develop, and deliver automation projects that ensure performance, scalability, and customer impact for BotCity’s clients. This role is critical to maintaining high-quality code, smooth delivery, and strong customer experience across Professional Services engagements. The ideal professional is a passionate Python developer who builds clean, reliable automation solutions, communicates effectively while prioritizing the customer experience, and thrives as a collaborative, adaptable team player in a fast-changing environment. This role reports to the Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze client requirements, propose automation solutions, and design workflows aligned with business goals. Develop, test, and deploy Python automations using BotCity’s platform and best practices. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, following team standards, reviews, and version control processes (Git). Monitor, debug, and optimize automations to ensure reliability and performance in production. Document processes, code, and architecture clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences. Provide technical support and training during project handover or customer onboarding. Collaborate closely with project managers, QA, and clients to ensure successful and timely project delivery. Identify and implement improvements in development practices, tooling, and project workflows.

Requisitos

Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Professional experience (2+ years) in Python development. Relevant hands-on experience with automation or RPA projects. Proven experience with Git version control system and GitHub Flow. Solid understanding of APIs, data manipulation, error handling, and debugging. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to new business contexts. Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients and internal stakeholders. Experience working with MS Office/Excel, Google Suite, Notion, Slack. Ability to travel as needed to support events and meet the team. Portuguese - Fluent. English - Advanced.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in professional services, IT consulting, or technical implementation. Familiarity with BotCity tools. Experience with Agile methodologies. Prior experience in an early-stage, high-growth, and fast-paced startup environment.
