[REMOTE] Full-stack Developer Grader at Shaw and Partners

Who we are and what we do Shaw and Partners is a software development provider for high-profile startups with approximately 25 remote staff. We are also incubating two startups. Christopher Shaw, the founder and CEO, would be your manager.

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team as a Grader, responsible for evaluating, reviewing, and assessing coding assignments and projects submitted by candidates. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in full-stack development to ensure submissions meet technical and quality.

Required:

• English (Fluency in reading and writing, speaking can be intermediate)
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and frameworks like React)
• Strong knowledge of back-end development with languages like Node.js, Python
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals knowledge (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, etc.)

Differentials:

• Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or grading is a plus

Responsibilities (Assessment and Grading)

• Conduct technical interviews
• Review technical tests
• Send feedback on the candidate's technical skills to the hiring manager
• Ensure submitted work aligns with modern frameworks, tools, and industry trends
• Validate the functionality, scalability, and maintainability of code submissions
